“Please stand clear of the doors. Por favor mantente alejada de las puertas.”
If you’re missing the Disney Parks as much as I am you’re probably looking for ways to embrace the Disney magic at home. This Friday, June 26th at 8:30 PM EST I’ll be hosting a Virtual Disney Monorail Bar Crawl that you can take part in via Instagram! Read on to see how you can take part or host your own Virtual Disney Monorail Bar Crawl later on!

How will it work?
For the next few days I’ll be sharing ways that you can prepare for the Virtual Monorail Bar Crawl. This will include a drink menu inspired by bars at the Contemporary Resort, Polynesian Village, and Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, crafts to help you feel like you’re there, and a playlist of videos/music you can turn on while you sip away!
On Friday, June 26th at 8:30 PM EST, you can join me via my Instagram Stories (@karmankismet) as I make my way through the Resort Monorail Line and stop at each resort before watching Magic Kingdom’s fireworks show, “Happily Ever After” to conclude the evening.
At each stop we can take in a nice adult beverage, surrounded by our crafts, and listen to our music/watch our videos, while I share some Disney Trivia on each of the resorts. There may even be a special prize for the person who gets the most trivia questions correct (ending at 9 AM EST on Saturday June 27th)!
What will I need?
I’ll be updating this post each day to include more goodies! Tomorrow, be on the look out for a suggested drink menu. On Wednesday I’ll be sharing some crafts you can try and Thursday check back for a playlist of music and videos that we’ll be playing on Friday evening.
Most importantly – be sure you download the Virtual Monorail Bar Crawl Passport so that you can keep track of your drinks as you go!

Drinks
At each stop I’ll be showing you how to make a mix drink inspired by the real drinks you can get at the different bars along the Magic Kingdom Resort Monorail line. To get ready for Friday, check out the recipes below and make sure you have all the necessary ingredients!
For each location, I have also included a suggested wine or beer if you’d rather not drink a mixed drink. Of course, if you have your own favorite drink from the Outer Rim, Trader Sam’s, or the Enchanted Rose that you’d like to make at home, you can do that as well! I’d love to see what you make, so be sure to tag @karmankismet on Instagram!
Contemporary Resort – Outer Rim
Our first stop will be the Outer Rim, located on the concourse level of the Contemporary Resort. I’ll be showing you how to make a Moscow Mule, a favorite of many who stop here for a drink! If you’d rather stick to a beer, I suggest a good old fashioned Samuel Adams Seasonal.

Polynesian Village Resort – Trader Sam’s
If you have ever stopped into Trader Sam’s for a drink, you know all about the incredibly themed drinks! We’re going to make a Trader Sam’s classic – the Mosquito Mojito. If you’d like to stick with a beer or wine, I’d suggest trying a Kona Spiked Seltzer.

Grand Floridian Resort & Spa – Enchanted Rose
Walt Disney World’s newest lounge on the Monorail Bar Crawl offers a high end experience and the drinks don’t disappoint! We’ll be mixing up their signature Prosecco Cocktail. For a beer or wine selection, I’d suggest Enchantee by Gerard Bertrand Rose.

Crafts
To help us really feel like we’re at the Resorts, I’ve put together three easy crafts. We’ll be creating an Enchanted Rose from Beauty and the Beast, coasters for each of the bars we’ll be stopping at, and a Monorail banner. Be sure to check out the IGTV, where I share with you how to make each of the crafts!
