“Gratitude turns what we have into enough” – Aesop
Let’s be honest, the past few weeks of social distancing have been anything but easy. We’re getting used to a new “normal,” while not being able to surround ourselves with those who we would normally lean on for support. In a sense, we are grieving a loss of this normalcy.
Thankfully, technology has allowed us to keep in touch with our loved ones even though we may not be able to physically be near them. I know that FaceTime has been a God send to my family, who has become quite the pros when it comes to virtual game nights and happy hours!

Despite having technology to keep us connected, it can sometimes just all seem to be too much. I had one of those times last night and I let myself grieve for a little bit, but then decided it was time to change my focus to the positive.
To help me do this, I created Daily Gratitude Cards that include a space for the date, a goal/intention for the day, and a list of three reasons I am grateful. I printed out a few sheets (four cards on each 8.5×11 piece of paper) and have them sitting on my nightstand with a pretty marker so that I can fill one out each morning when I wake up.

You can download your own set of Daily Gratitude Cards here.
If you share your cards on Instagram, be sure to tag @karmankismet so I can see what you’re grateful for today!
