As I write this blog and film my most recent video, I am working from home and actively social distancing from everyone other than my cat, Pascal, and my boyfriend, Pat (happy birthday!) in the hopes of doing my part to “flatten the curve” of the COVID-19 pandemic. Like I would think everyone, this “season” has been completely different than planned and mentally trying – there is the uncertainty of what will happen with the economy, the fear that a loved one or you will get sick, the lack of social interaction, and the loss of one’s regular routine. In spite of these anxiety inducing thoughts, which I have a tendency of letting take over my life if I let them, I have been working to focus my intentions on the positives – I am blessed to have a job that allows me to work from home, I can still create art and content and engage with the karma&kismet community without ever leaving my front door, I have more time to focus on the things I say I don’t have the time to do regularly (i.e. I’ve been doing yoga everyone morning and walking every night!), and I have a support system of people who will have virtual family dinners, game nights, and FaceTime with me at the drop of a hat!

In today’s video I am sharing one of the main ways that I am focusing my intentions on positivity and surrounding myself with joy – bringing Disney into my “new normal” work routine. Check out the video below to see how I use everything from style, to coffee, to art to bring home the magic of Disney.
I would love to see how you are bringing home the magic of Disney while social distancing. Tag @karmankismet on Instagram so I can check it out!
