If it wasn’t so obnoxious to write in all caps I totally would be because I am so dang excited that Pat and I will be sailing with Disney Cruise Line in October! We’ll be boarding the Disney Magic for 5 nights to travel from New York City, to Halifax (Nova Scotia), Saint John (New Brunswick), and back to NYC.

Having cruised with Disney Cruise Line before, Pat and I know what a treat we are in for, but we are interested to see how this cruise is different from cruises that travels to the Caribbean (basically, we’re wondering how much we’ll miss Castaway Cay, Disney’s private island in the Bahamas). We do know we’ll be very happy to have two full days at sea where we can do a few of our favorite things – eat, go to the spa, and play some trivia!

One thing we’re certain of is that we’ll have a great time, especially since this is a “Halloween on the High Seas” voyage! What does that mean? There are festive on board events, decorations, and offerings that you can only experience on one of these trips. I guess this means we’ll have to figure out what we’re going to dress up as this year a little early!

We went on a Very Merrytime Cruise two years ago, which you can read more about here, and loved the way the ship was transformed for the time of the year. It totally got us in the spirit!
If you’re thinking about cruising with Disney Cruise Line I would highly suggest you check out the video below to find out some great money saving tips that we’ve picked up during our previous voyages. They include saving a ton of money when booking a cruise, plus how you can save on those additional costs once you get on the cruise (like the adult beverages you know you’re going to want to try!). And be sure to subscribe to the channel, as I’ll have a ton more videos coming to prepare for the cruise, ways that you can bring home some Disney magic, and other fun stuff!
If you’ve been on a Disney Cruise before let me know below! I’d love to hear what your must-do’s are!
