This past Monday my boyfriend, Pat, and I returned to reality after having an incredible 10 days in Walt Disney World. We had so much fun playing in the parks, drinking around the world (well Pat did, I supported him!), and doing something we had never done before – enjoy a non-parks Disney weekend.

I’ll be honest with you, when we decided we wouldn’t spend any time in the parks on Saturday and Sunday I was a little worried. I am the first person to want to spend a night exploring the resorts, or an afternoon shopping at Disney Springs for some new Disney style pieces, but a whole 48 hours of being at Walt Disney World and not being able to walk down Main Street? I was pretty sure I was going to experience some real bad FOMO.
However, the complete opposite happened! Pat and I had a blast and never even thought about what we were missing in the parks. Take a look at our weekend adventures exploring everything else there is to do in Walt Disney World, including mini-golf at Fantasia Gardens, massages at the Sense Spa at Disney’a Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, and lunch at a “secret” restaurant in Disney Springs – Enzo’s Hideaway!
